Shared web hosting is the most common type of website hosting. It basically means that you are running your web site on a shared server. The upside of this type of hosting is that it is offered cheaply. You can even find one dollar hosting on shared servers.

If you have a relatively small site or you are a newbie in website creation, shared hosting is recommended for you. It does not need a lot of investment and you can easily create your own site with little budget.
